This time of year I am always in the mood for comfy and cozy, whether it be attire or decor, the more comfort the better! It must be the chilly weather or holiday season that’s giving me all the feels, but I’ve got comfort on the brain and in the mood to share what’s giving me the warm and fuzzies this week. It’s all about getting your home cozy for the festive season! Here are 4 tips to get you on your way!
– Throw on the throws
Layering is always an easy way to add warmth and texture to a space. Think chunky knits or plush faux furs.

-Warm up the patio
Have a fire lit before the guests arrive, extra decorative pillows for comfort and warm throws at hand.

-Light extra lamps
You don’t have to have a dinner party just to turn on the ambient lighting! Turn on all of your lamps throughout the house to bring a warm glow to each space.

-Use a warmer palette
Whether you’re repainting or simply adding some seasonal decor, turn to the warmer tones to set the mood. Traditional Fall colors are always a good idea – think oranges, browns and plums.
